Shadow meets Tikal p.t. 11

Shadow fell down on his knees…he then bent down over Tikal’s dead body he felt like something had stabbed him in his heart. He hadn’t felt this bad before…Not even when Maria died this...was worse.

I was blown away. What could I say? It all seemed to make sense. You’re taking away everything. And I can’t do without.

He picked her up, closed his eyes, and started to weep. He felt as if someone had ripped out his heart twice, stabbed it, shot with a shotgun, and then put it back in his body to rot. He then felt such a rage and anger that not even when he faced Nazo did he feel this much anger.

I try to see the good in life. But good things in life are hard to find. We’re blowing away blowing away. Can we make something good? Well I’ll try to do it right this time around. It’s not over, Try to do it right this time around. It’s not over. But part of me is dead and in the ground. This love is killing me. But you’re the only one. It’s not over.

Shadow put Tikal…and opened his eyes and Sonic saw his eyes were a blood red…like when Shadow was ready to do a Chaos Blast. Sonic staggered back and got up and ran as fast as he could and even with his broken arms he, Knuckles, Vector, and Omega were able to get everyone out as soon as Shadow stood up. Metal Sonic had just healed himself thanks to his new chaos energy. He started to laugh “Awwww did Shadow love the echidna princess? Oh well this what happens when someone gets in my way.” he said.

I’ve taken all I can take. And I cannot wait. We’re wasting too much time. Being strong, holding on. Can’t let it bring us down. My life with you means everything. So I won’t give up that easily. Shadow then said “She…was…the only one that understood me…she listened to me…she understood what it was like to watch and do nothing when someone you love dies!” While he was saying this all four of his power rings. He felt a huge rush of Chaos Energy enter his body. Metal started laughing. “Hahahahaha. As if you could hurt me now. I am invincible! I am-” He was cut off by Shadow punching him in the chest. Metal Sonic was sent flying Shadow then darted at him and kicked him. He then raised his right hand and shouted “CHAOS SPEAR!” A 20 f.t. golden spear hit Metal and sent him flying out of G.U.N.’s HQ and hit a tree. Shadow was still inside where he said “Chaos Boost level 3!” His body was glowing red he then summoned all of his Chaos Energy he had. He then teleported to Metal and punched his chest again and it went through him as if he were tin foil, he opened his hand and started moving it around until he found it! It was the red liquid tube of unlimited Chaos Energy. He took it out and then grabbed Metal by his throat and summoned the energy from the tube and shouted “CHOAS BLAST!” A big blast of red energy surrounded the both of them and it then expanded to not the usual 20 yards…but five miles! Everyone nearby knew what this was…they had seen a video of this when The Black Arms invaded…or where right there when the Chaos Blast was first unleashed. The soldiers were expecting to go flying in all different directions...but nothing happened. Everyone looked up and saw the blast disappear in a second. Meanwhile Sonic and the others saw the whole thing from Tails’ lab from a monitor screen. But back where Shadow was Metal Sonic was completely destroyed…the only thing left was his head. Shadow bent down and looked at the head. He picked it up and looked at it for a second. He then crushed it in his hands and the only thing left was the glass that covered his left eye. Shadow then walked back to Tikal.

He broke the red tube of liquid and poured it onto Tikal. He picked her up and took out his green Chaos Emerald. The red liquid stared to glow with the Chaos Emerald. He then said “Chaos Emerald I know you can hear me. If you can please bring back Tikal.” After a moment of silence the room went black and all the ebony hedgehog could see was himself, Tikal, and the chaos emerald.  A female voice seemed to come out of the emerald. “Shadow before I do what you want I have one question: Do you love this echidna?” Shadow sat silent for a moment then said “Yes…Yes I do love her.” The chaos emerald then shone. The other six emeralds came out of nowhere and The Master Emerald shone. The green chaos emerald said “If you really want this miracle to happen Shadow then you must promise me something.” Shadow said “What?” The green emerald said “Promise you won’t forget me.” Shadow said “I promise” Then in a flash…something came out of the green emerald. It was blue and transparent the thing took shape and it was Maria Robotnick! Maria then started flowing up and Shadow said “Maria?! Wha-” But he was cut off by Maria’s smile “Have a nice life Shadow! Remember please protect the Earth for me.” She then disappeared and Tikal’s “ghost” then came floating down silent and didn’t seem to notice Shadow. She passed through the green emerald and then went back to her back into her body and the room lightened up and they were back at G.U.N.’s HQ. Tikal started to groan. Shadow went over to her. “Tikal are you okay?” he asked. She replied “Yeah…I just have a headache.” Shadow asked “Can you get up?” Tikal tried but couldn’t “I can’t move!” Shadow thought for a second and said “Okay...I’m going to have to carry you. Is that okay?” Shadow always asked permission to carry someone. It’s just who he was. Tikal said “Yes.” Shadow then put an arm under her legs and the other under her head. Shadow said “Hang on. I’m going to run and you may want to cover your ears… breaking the sound barrier isn’t fun the first time.” Tikal did what he told her and they sped off. She heard a huge explosion and when she opened her eyes she saw that Shadow was running and looked like it was nothing. As if it was like he was just breathing. Tikal saw a cliff and saw Shadow didn’t stop. She closed her eyes but she never felt herself falling. Instead she and Shadow were flying…but how?! She looked down and saw they were flying from his shoes. They then flew off into the moonlight…
