Roy's Birthday

*Jason: Hello everyone on DeviantArt. Here is another birthday thing for my good friend Royle McCulloch. Happy Birthday mate here's what I promised.*

        Jason The Hedgehog was coming out of his meditation state. He opened his eyes and saw the sun was setting. He had been meditating for since noon and by judging by the look of the sun it may have been 8 p.m. He got up thinking he forgot something important. He looked at his watch that Amber gave him for his birthday and couldn't remember what it was. He looked at the date and it said June 6th.
"June 6th…June 6th why does that date seem to be in need of remembering?" He asked himself.
He then rolled his eyes when he remembered. It was that stupid Neanderthal's birthday. He despised Royle McCulloch a lot. Ever since he beat him in a fight nearly 10 years ago to the day Jason was still pissed. How could a Human beat a clone warrior Hedgehog?  He was a powerful clone warrior one of the best on the planet. People use to tremble in fear if they had the time to be warned of his coming if his opponent was in their town. Back then he was ruthless. He didn't care who got hurt or who died so long as his objective was finished. After he almost finally beaten that damned parasite Virus but, once again he got away. Roy showed up sensing a fight and he was curious as to what was going on. Jason was confused since he never even sensed what was radiating off of this guy. It wasn't any energy he was use to sensing. He told him to run off so he wouldn't get hurt but, as usual that Human was stubborn and refused to budge. Jason threatened him to leave so he could try to track Virus again but he said he wanted to help since he thought it was him that destroyed the city but it was Jason himself since he tried using a blast to eradicate him and didn't care about the inhabitants. Roy was taken aback so to say. Jason threatened one more time but Roy refused. Then Jason attacked and Roy was taken off guard. Despite Roy's best efforts he was flattened and rolled on what was the rest of a street in five minutes. Jason thought he won as usual but Roy stood back up firing one last blast at him. It wasn't an energy blast which was what he was used to. It was fire. Blue fire to be exact and boy did it hurt. Jason never felt an element be used against him like that. Since he was caught off guard he was down and had no energy to stand. Roy got up and looked at Jason for a long time. Jason could barely keep his eyes open. He never thought he would die. He always laughed at the danger, spat Death's face, he always was at Death Door's but was able to step back right out and laugh about it later, but now there was no way out. He couldn't escape form this. Roy's hand started to glow a white fire and Jason expected him to incinerate him to Death. He closed his eyes not wanting to feel the pain but it never came. He suddenly felt a stronger till his wounds were healed. He jumped up and saw the Human standing there with his hand still glowing the white fire. He looked at him with a confused look. The Human stopped and smiled.
"I enjoyed that fight. I'd like to fight you again. You may be stubborn, have a huge ego, and always serious, but the way you fight is with sheer determination. You may fight for the kill but that wasn't always you. There's still something in you that may come out again. I'll catcha you later…" The Human said trailing off.
Jason dusted himself off before replying. "Jason, Jason The Hedgehog." He said looking at him with a death glare.
"Jason it is then. If you ever want to find me just seek out the energy that has more elemental in it. That'll be me alright? By the way names Royle McCulloch. See you Hedgehog!" The Human called Roy walked off.
Jason watched him walk off into the distance and said silently.
"You better be prepared Human. From this point on till I beat you into the ground I'll be training for that day…and when it comes you'll be begging for mercy before I finish you off!"
Jason opened his eyes from having that memory played again. He almost shuddered at the fact that he use to enjoy the kill of someone in battle. Now he would only kill someone if he had no other choice.
"Okay now what to get the Human is the question…" Jason said trailing off. For five minutes he was thinking of what to do till he saw a rock on the ground. He picked it up examining it. An idea struck him. This was probably going to take hours and since he didn't have the time to do it he'd have to try something very risky…
"Well here goes to me not killing myself in the process." Jason said before teleporting away.
*Two hours later*
Roy was sleeping in a tree since he was bored and didn't feel like going home. He didn't hear someone come below the tree till a scoff was heard and then he woke up from the tree vibrating. He fell 10 ft. on his face. He picked up his head and saw Jason standing there looking ticked as usual.
"Geez Jason…you'd be a great military sergeant when it comes to waking people up." Roy said rubbing his hand and standing up.
"Shut up Human. I'm here for business and nothing else. Just take this package and I'll be on my way." Jason said sternly.
Roy noticed a small package in his arm that he held out. He took it and shook it.
"What is it a bomb or something?" Rou asked jokingly.
"Just open the damn box Human!" Jason shouted at him
"Alright, alright yesh no reason to lose your temper." Roy said.
He opened it and found a white rock with a card inside. He put the letter down back into the box and held out the white rock.
"You got me a rock? What does it do make Oreos or something?" Roy asked looking confused.
Jason face palmed his head. "If you opened the card you'd find out Human!" Jason shouted about to blow something up.
Roy bent down and opened up the card. He saw 50 dollars in it and a note that read.
"Dear Human,
Hope you have a h…a ha…have a happy birthday. Since you are stupid enough to not open the card first I won't be surprised if this is destroyed over the fact that I snapped and probably tried to fight you. (Which I apologize if I do since it is your birthday and I'm not trying to give you a break from me seeking you out for a fight.) Anyway this is a fake Emerald that I made. You can use it too store energy in over time. If you're ever in a tight spot just use this from the reserves from here to help you out. I'm sure you know how to pool your energy in here if not. Oh well your problem not mine.
Sincerely Jason.
P.S. I'm going to fight you tomorrow at noon whether you're ready or not so be prepared."
Roy sighed knowing he'd have to fight Jason in return from getting a gift. He looked up and saw Jason walking away.
"Jason thanks for the gift!" He called out.
Jason didn't even acknowledge him and just kept walking disappearing into the trees.
Roy stood there for a minute till he said out loud.
"I wonder how long it took him to write the card. Probably an hour. Oh well better put this with all the other ones I've gotten from him. He seems to forget he gives this to me every year."
And with that Roy planeswalked away.
*Jason: Okay that should do it. This was about four pages so I think this should do it. It's really hard to try and keep Roy's character in the way he uses him. Happy birthday again Roy!*
